This book was surprisingly a fun read for me. Usually I am not to fond of thrillers, mysteries or books related to politics, but this book I enjoyed.
From the minute I started the book I was hooked, and that rarely happens. I surprisingly was very interested in the politics involved in this book, and often the politics discussed made sense to me (since I am not a major fan of learning about politics).
Following Tyler Madison and his family proved to be an addicting adventure as I desperately wanted to continue reading even when I didn’t have the chance. The book gives powerful insights into politics and the structure of families that I didn’t expect from a book like this.
If anything, the book could have had a little more action that was less predictable. I did seem to catch on to plot twists fairly quickly and I saw a lot of the twists and turns coming chapters before they would happen. Otherwise, it was a fun read that gave amazing information and insight to topics not usually discussed.
Four of out five stars.
