#BookReview Easter with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid

Another Snowman Paul adventure is on it’s way! This time, Snowman Paul is celebrating Easter.

Snowman Paul REALLY wants an Easter egg but the chickens aren’t exactly too happy with that. Why does he want it? Well, there’s an Easter egg painting contest! Dan and Snowman Paul’s friendship is shown even mores in this book, which makes my heart sing. The little message about friendship that is in this book will be a great conversation starter for parents who want to make this book a little more educational too! What a great conversation starter, mixed in with a lovely story.

I love the facial expressions in this book. It made me smile and giggle as I read it. This book will definitely be loved by kids and adults alike. The fun, happiness and cheer these books bring are wonderful. Yossi Lapid deserves all the love! Grab this book for your children’s book shelf, it’s well worth it! And this series is always a staple on my must read, book recommendations!

The first page had me grinning already with balloons, chickens, chicks and bunnies all over. It’s a colourful array of fun with incredible illustrations. I love this series for the illustrations alone, and then you add in the valuable messages and friendship.

Five out of five stars.

I was sent a free copy of this book by Yossi Lapid AND I picked this for myself too. This series is just too good to be true!

#BookReview Valentine’s Day with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid

Valentine’s Day with Snowman Paul is an excellent way to celebrate this love filled holiday in a sweet, friendship filled book!

Snowman Paul is one of my favourite children’s books series. It’s sweet, lighthearted and fun! The illustrations are always colourful and engaging, and the book is just all around awesome.

This time around we get to check out Valentine’s Day with our favourite Snowman. Snowman Paul has been reading up about the holiday, so he gives his best friend Dan a low down about what he has learned. Together, the pair learn about friendship and the love you can have for your close friends. Seeing Dan and Paul’s friendship in this book made me heart swell. It’s truly a sweet book.

The caring and respectful nature of a really good friendship can show you that maybe Valentine’s Day doesn’t need to be just about romantic love.

This book is marvellous and spectacular. I absolutely adore it and I think it shares a very important message. A lot of people worry about the romantic side of Valentine’s Day. Why don’t we share the friendly love we have for our buddies this day too? Our friends can be our valentines too!

Five out of five stars.

Thank you to Yossi Lapid who sent me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. It is always a pleasure.

#BookReview Snowman Paul at the Concert Hall by Yossi Lapid

Snowman Paul is back again and going to a concert hall!

This is the sweetest, little series – as I keep saying over and over. I adore it and could scream it from the hills! Soft illustrations, great messages, and fun stories are all packed into these adorable, little picture books!

Our lead sees Snowman Paul practicing some music – singing, fiddling, trumpets, drumming and more – and watches him have a swell time! Soon enough, music is playing day and night. Unfortunately, nobody was sleeping because Snowman Paul was so committed! After all of this practicing, Snowman Paul gets to perform!

I thought this was a super charming story! I’d highly recommend adding it to your children’s or your picture book TBR. This series is utterly adorable and is totally worth picking up!

Four out of five stars.

#BookReview Halloween with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid

It’s spooky time with Snowman Paul!

I absolutely adore Snowman Paul and his shenanigans! He’s such a sweet character with a fun array of stories. This time around he’s taking part in my favourite holidays: Halloween!

Our friend in this story comes across many warnings as he’s walking: aliens, witches and Snowman Paul in a dragon costume!

I absolutely love the soft and colourful pictures in this book! They are detailed enough to pull you in and colourful enough to grab your attention! Bight greens and oranges give it a more spooky feel to go along with the Halloween feel. And there’s also a super cute rhyming scheme that had me singing in my head as I read the book. It adds to the fun level.

Yet again, Yossi Lapid has a hit on his hands! If you have little ones and are looking for a fun picture book, pick up this series. It is totally worth it!

Five out of five stars.

#BookReview The Amazing Snowman Duel by Yossi Lapid

Snowman Paul is back, and this time he’s down for a duel!

Yossi Lapid’s sweet series about the friendly Snowman Paul is one of my fave kids series at the moment. It’s short, fun and teaches some valuable lessons! It’s only natural for me to continue to snowball my way through the series (haha, puns! I’m hilarious…).

Bill, a buddy of our lead character, builds Snowman Nick. This snowman looks like he’s not the most friendly guy, especially since he has a giant stick. And just like that, Snowman Paul and Snowman Nick are set for a duel! Everyone is excited with banners waving and animals gathering around. But there’s quite the trick about this duel… You’ll have to read to find out the surprise twist!

These books are colourful and have a soft illustration style. I really enjoy it, especially since it doesn’t take your attention away from the narrative. It’s not a style I see many books have either, so the uniqueness level is great! Add in the super cute stories that Snowman Paul has to offer, and you’ve got yourself a real winner!

I think this is an excellent addition to any children’s picture book shelf. These stories are absolutely lovely!

Four out of five stars!

#BookReview Snowman Paul Saves Kate’s Birthday by Yossi Lapid

Snowman Paul is back and this time it’s his friend Kate’s birthday!

Our lead character made a mistake and almost ruined Kate’s birthday, but Snowman Paul came to the rescue! Together, the two of them come up with an epic idea and initiate the plan to make Kate’s birthday super, duper awesome!

This book was sweet and is yet again full of pretty illustrations. There are bright colours with the soft illustrations, which makes for a cohesive story. I honestly love these water colour pictures and I’m glad that they kept it consistent throughout the series.

Overall, this book is a great addition to your picture book and children’s book shelf!

Four out of five stars.

Quick #BookReview Snowman Paul and Kate’s Olympic Dream by Yossi Lapid

38473243

The last book of this boxset, Snowman Paul and Kate’s Olympic Dream, adds to this epic series of tales! Kate, Paul’s friend, knows how to skate! She’s really good, but wants Paul to teach her how to win! Dan and Paul worked with Kate to practice her jumps, speed and twirls so she could get better and make it to the Olympics! With the encouragement of Paul and Dan, they made Kate realize that she shouldn’t give up on her dreams! The more she practiced and believed in herself, the better she did! And after all was said and done, they helped Dan out too!

#BookReview Snowman Paul Returns to the Winter Olympics by Yossi Lapid

38139504

The third book, Snowman Paul Returns to the Winter Olympics, is yet another wonderful addition to this series. This time, Paul is a referee at the Olympics! But, if we learned anything from last time, maybe Paul shouldn’t be trusted with this job… So, what lesson can Paul teach us this time around? This time, Paul is too busy being a referee and working really hard! This book was a little shorter than the last one (well, it felt shorter), but the story was just as strong! All work and no play makes Paul a bored snowman!

I think this story is a super cute addition! I really liked the art style that continues across the series.

If you had to pick one series to read to your kids, this series has to be it! It has beautiful artwork that is soft yet sweet, and it has important themes all children need to learn. These books can be talking points in a classroom, or simply at bedtime! And why not learn with a super cute Snowman?

Four out of five stars!

#BookReview Snowman Paul at the Winter Olympics by Yossi Lapid

32852101

Time for a quick review of a super short and sweet book!

The second book of the Snowman Paul series, Snowman Paul at the Winter Olympics, opens up with the super smart Paul reading a newspaper! This ambitious snowman wants to win an Olympic medal, and he plans to meet this goal! Paul introduces his little friend to the quality of confidence! If you aren’t confident in yourself, however are you going to succeed? Even if you fail, at least you tried! The rhyming scheme is present in this book yet again, but it felt just right in this book. The art was ridiculously cute, and continues with the same style from the first novel (My Snowman, Paul). It passes my expectations for a simple picture book about a Snowman! I’d highly recommend this book, especially since it shows some of the amazing sports in the Winter Olympics, including ski-jumping, speed-skating, and curling. It’s a fun book for any child’s shelf. If you can, pick up the box set! The main theme behind this book was not cheating and being honest.
